I can actually picture the mother who wrote this. She is wearing a green dress, dark-red lipstick and is angrily slamming scotch at the reception. She is married to a man named Harold and keeps saying, "Just look at this, Harold. It's a travesty." Harold doesn't respond because he tuned her out 35 years ago.
